Why book with us
You can search, compare and book a cruise yourself, and there are real people behind it if you need one. Here is exactly how that works today.
Book online. Get a real travel advisor.
Search cruises, compare prices, and pick a cabin whenever it suits you — the site does not close. When you are ready, send a request from the sailing you want.
Sending a request is not the same as booking it. A travel specialist replies within one business day, confirms the details with you, and places the reservation with the cruise line.
Your reservation is with the cruise line
You are booking a real cruise with the cruise line itself. The cruise line is the seller of record: it runs the ship, holds the reservation and charges you. Vidalumi is your travel agency, placing the booking with the cruise line for you.
Once a specialist places your booking, the cruise line issues its own confirmation number. The cruise line runs the ship and its terms govern your sailing from the moment your booking is confirmed.
Real humans answer
You can reach a person by email or phone — info@vidalumi.com or (866) 696-4216. Write or call before you book, with a question, or after you book, about a request already in progress.
A booking request sent from a sailing page reaches the same people, with the sailing already attached, which is usually the faster route.
Questions before you book?
Secure payment
Your payment goes to the cruise line, which charges it, not to Vidalumi. When online card payment is available, your card goes directly to the cruise line from our secure payment page (pay.vidalumi.com); otherwise, you pay the cruise line as it directs, by the dates it sets. A Vidalumi specialist can help, but paying on time is your responsibility. Either way, Vidalumi never stores your card number.
Help when things go sideways
The same specialist who handles your request is who you write to afterward. Today that covers:
- Changing a cabin, sailing date, or number of travelers
- Cancellations and refund questions
- Payment and deposit questions
- Questions that need to go to the cruise line
- Getting ready to sail — documents, timing, what to expect
- Anything that needs escalating beyond a first reply
Email info@vidalumi.com and describe what is going on. If it needs the cruise line, your specialist follows up with them — not you.
