What does the packing list take into account?

The region your sailing visits, any private-island day, how many nights you are away, and your cruise line’s dress code. Sections that do not apply are left out.

Does it pack for every day of a long cruise?

No. Clothing is capped at seven days — ships have laundry, and a fortnight’s clothes do not stow in a cabin. Everything else scales with the trip.

What paperwork does it remind me about?

Passport, visas your itinerary needs, proof of vaccination where it applies, and documents that only matter at the pier — in their own section.
