Escape was a response to Norwegian''s own success with Breakaway — take the formula, make it larger, add more restaurants, upgrade the entertainment. The result is a ship that does everything Breakaway does at higher volume. The Waterfront promenade spans the full length of the ship with fifteen food and beverage venues; the entertainment roster covers Broadway, comedy, and dueling pianos nightly. The Haven complex on Escape is one of Norwegian''s best-executed — roughly 100 suites arranged around a private pool, dedicated restaurant, and concierge lounge that insulates Haven guests from the larger ship''s rhythms. For guests outside the Haven, the specialty restaurant lineup is among the most extensive in the fleet: Ocean Blue for seafood (Geoffrey Zakarian), Cagney''s, Le Bistro, Margaritaville, and eight others.
