Who this ship suits

Aqua suits families with older children and teenagers who want an active top deck. Alongside the Aqua Slidecoaster there is Glow Court, a sports floor with LED lighting, Tee Time mini golf and the Aqua Game Zone arcade. She also suits solo travelers, with Solo Staterooms designed for one person. And she suits suite travelers who want a private area, The Haven, with its own sundeck and pool.

She is less suited to travelers who want a quiet ship, or to anyone who dislikes paying for extras on board. The adults-only Vibe Beach Club, for example, needs a paid pass for the full cruise, and Norwegian says space is limited.

The ship itself

Aqua is the first Prima Plus ship, and Norwegian Luna, which followed in 2026, is her sister. Norwegian gives her length as 1,056 feet.

At 156,300 gross tons and 3,565 guests at double occupancy (two to a cabin), she has about 44 gross tons per guest. With 1,597 crew, there are about 2.2 guests per crew member. When third and fourth berths are filled, more people are on board than the double-occupancy figure suggests.

Cabins

The range runs from Inside and Oceanview cabins through Balcony cabins and suites to The Haven, Norwegian's ship-within-a-ship. Solo Staterooms are designed for one traveler. The Three-Bedroom Duplex Suites are new to the line on this ship and suit larger family groups who want to stay together.

Families and kids

For a fourteen-year-old, the top deck is the draw: the Slidecoaster, Glow Court, mini golf and the arcade. For a four-year-old there is less built specifically for their age group in what Norwegian publishes about this ship. We have not verified the kids' club age bands for Aqua, so check them with Norwegian before you book. The Slidecoaster has rider requirements, so check them before promising a younger child a ride.

What to know before you book

• Several of the most talked-about spaces, including Vibe Beach Club, cost extra. Budget for them, or plan around them.
• Norwegian gives 2025 as the year she was built. She is new, so long-term guest reviews are limited.
• We do not yet have verified accessible-cabin counts or locations for this ship. Ask Norwegian's accessibility team before booking.
