MSC World Atlantic: the fourth World Class ship, due in the Caribbean from November 2027
MSC World Atlantic is the fourth ship in MSC Cruises' World Class series and is still being built. She floated out at Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France, in September 2026 and is scheduled for delivery in 2027. From November 2027 she is due to sail alternating seven- and 14-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries that include Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC's private island in the Bahamas.
Who this ship suits
World Atlantic will suit the same travelers as her sister MSC World America: families and groups who want a very large ship with a lot to do, on a Caribbean itinerary that includes MSC's private island. MSC calls her its next U.S. flagship. The 14-night itineraries will suit travelers who want two weeks in the Caribbean without changing ships.
She will not suit travelers who want a small ship, or anyone who needs certainty about a first-season sailing date.
The ship itself
World Atlantic is the fourth ship in MSC's World Class series, which runs on liquefied natural gas, and will be the 25th ship in the MSC Cruises fleet. MSC says she has seven districts, as World America does, but has not yet named them. She floated out in September 2026, and work on her interiors continues at the shipyard.
