Disney Treasure

Disney Treasure launches in 2024 with an adventure theme and Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral

Disney Treasure is scheduled to enter service in late 2024 as Disney Cruise Line''s newest ship, carrying 6,000 guests on Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, Florida. The ship''s design theme centers on adventure and exploration, with spaces inspired by Adventureland, the Indiana Jones franchise, and the broader Disney adventure catalog. Disney Treasure will sail Western Caribbean routes including Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Castaway Cay.

Disney Treasure continues the design approach of Disney Wish — a larger ship (6,000 guests vs. 4,000 on older Disney vessels) with deep thematic integration throughout. Where Disney Wish leaned into fairy tales and Marvel, Treasure''s organizing theme is adventure and exploration, drawing from the Disney adventure catalog including Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Adventureland, and Raiders-era Indiana Jones aesthetics.

The signature restaurant on Disney Treasure is The Skipper Society, a Jungle Cruise-themed dining experience with the humor and irreverence of the original attraction. Palo (the adults-only Italian restaurant present across the Disney fleet) and Palo Steakhouse (a second adults-only venue introduced on Disney Wish) are both aboard. The main dining room rotational system runs the same three-restaurant model as other Disney ships: different restaurant each night, same servers following you across venues.

The entertainment on Disney Treasure includes a new theatrical production built around the Treasure theme, along with Disney''s standard multi-venue entertainment programming. AquaMouse — Disney''s water coaster attraction first introduced on Disney Wish — is aboard. The children''s clubs (Oceaneers Club and Lab, Edge, Vibe) follow the Disney fleet standard.

Castaway Cay, Disney''s private island in the Bahamas, is a stop on the Western Caribbean itinerary. The island works effectively as an extension of the Disney experience on land — a beach day that doesn''t require leaving the Disney ecosystem. It remains the best-executed private island in the Caribbean for the Disney demographic.

Disney Treasure is for: families with children who want the full Disney catalog at sea, Disney adults who travel without children, and guests who want the newest Disney hardware on Caribbean itineraries. At 6,000 guests, the scale is large; travelers who prefer smaller, more intimate ships should consider Disney Wonder or Disney Magic instead.
